Save the Date: School Walk for Diabetes April 1

The 2017 edition of Keller ISD's annual School Walk for Diabetes is set for April 1 at the Keller ISD Athletics Complex.

Proceeds from School Walk for Diabetes will go to the American Diabetes Association to fund diabetes research and education.

The theme of this year's School Walk is "Diabetes, It's No Joke."
The event will once again begin at 9 a.m. with an Opening Ceremony, followed by the walk which begins at 9:15 a.m. Doors and registration will open that day at 8 a.m. Keller ISD's Employee Olympics will take place prior to the walk, beginning at 8:15 a.m. Prizes will be awarded following the walk at 10:15 a.m.

The lineup for this year's School Walk for Diabetes includes a silent auction, jugglers, vendors, craft stations, music, food, and a lot more fun. More information will be made available in the coming weeks, but you can already visit your campus nurse to register for your campus or order a T-shirt for this year's event.

Briggs Equipment Company is the presenting sponsor for this year's Keller ISD School Walk for Diabetes. The District would also like to thank Best Buy, Endocrine & Thyroid Center, Lustig & Young Orthodontics, and Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance for their support for the event.
