This exciting event is one of the most beloved weeks of the year, where we come together to inspire reading and support our library. Here’s what you need to know to make this Book Fair experience amazing for you and your child!

📅 Key Dates: Scholastic Book Fair

• Preview Day: Friday, 11/15
  Students get an exclusive sneak peek of all the books, so they can start planning their wish lists! Parents, if you are at school for Field Day, you'll also be able to shop early!

• Book Fair Opens: Monday, 11/18
  Your child's class is scheduled for a specific shopping day, but we’ll be open each day, even during lunch breaks, so your child has plenty of time to find their next favorite book! Parents and families are welcome to join the fun and shop alongside our Ridgeview readers before school, during lunch, at recess, and at Community Resource Night!

💳 E-Wallet: A Convenient & Cash-Free Way to Shop

Book Fair E-Wallet is a simple, secure way to let your child shop independently. Setting up an E-Wallet means you can add funds for them to use, share the link with family and friends who might want to chip in, and roll over any leftover funds to use online or at our next Book Fair. E-Wallet gives kids the freedom to pick out books they’re excited to read—all without the worry of handling cash.

If you prefer to have your child use cash, please send their money in a labeled Ziploc bag on their shopping day. They are responsible for their money, teachers will not be collecting it.

Want to help ensure all students can participate? When setting up an E-Wallet for your child, you’ll see an option to donate to Share the Fair. This helps give every student at Ridgeview the opportunity to choose a book from the Fair.
